U kon ons van 1 juli tot en met 11 september 2016 vinden bij het URB EGG-pop-up-café te Brugge aan de Gentpoort.

Voor de tweede maal verzorgden we de groene aankleding van het URB EGG-café. Ons concept van “tuintjes in zakformaat” met een macrodiversiteit aan microklimaten, die we ten volle willen en moeten benutten, bleef behouden. Nu hadden we gekozen voor een soberder en iets strakkere afwerking met de nadruk op kleur en geur. Van de flessen/geurtunnel aan de ingang, over de bloembakken aan en op de containers, tot de groene wand, ware, de zintuigen de leidraad voor deze editie van microtuinen in macrosteden.

Grassen, kruiden en éénjarige planten zorgden voor een groen geheel.

Pour la deuxième fois nous nous avons occupé de la décoration verte du URB EGG-café. Notre concept, des mini-jardins qui offrent une macro-diversité des microclimats lesquels nous voulons et pouvons utiliser au mieux, a continué d’être le principe fondamental. Maintenant nous avons eu choisi un finissage plus sobre et un peu épuré avec une insistance sur les couleurs et les odeurs.  Dès le tunnel de bouteilles/odeurs, les jardinières au et sur les containers, jusque à la façade verte, les sens étaient les guides principales pour cette édition de micro-jardins dans les macro-villes.

Les graminées, les herbes et les plantes annuelles donnaient un ensemble vert.

For the second time we provided for the “green furnishing” of the URB EGG-café. Our concept of “pocket-sized gardens”, with a macro diversity of microclimates, which we want to and should explore fully, remained the basic tenet. We chose a soberer and somewhat sleek design with the emphasis on colour and scent. From the bottle/scent tunnel at the entrance, over the flower boxes at and on top of the containers, to the living wall, the senses were the guiding principles of this edition of Micro-gardens in macro-cities.
